Competition Terms & Conditions
Introduction
By participating in the competition, you are agreeing to these competition terms and conditions. The competition is being run by New Media Ghost Ltd.
Eligibility to Enter
The competition is open to entrants over 18 years of age. New Media Ghost Ltd employees and associates are excluded from the draw. It is open to anyone with a UK address.
By entering the competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and that you are eligible to receive any prizes that may be awarded to you.
There is a limit of one entry per person, and the competition is entirely free to enter.
The competition closes at Midnight on 28th October, 2023.
The Prize
The winning prize will be the ‘Treat’ decided by New Media Ghost Ltd and will be no less than £50 in value.
The use of specific brands as prizes by New Media Ghost Ltd does not imply any affiliation with or endorsement of such brands.
The prize is non-transferable and non-exchangeable, and no cash alternatives will be provided.
We reserve the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value if circumstances beyond our control require doing so.
New Media Ghost’s decision on any aspect of the competition is final and binding; no correspondence will be entered about it.
Winner Announcement
The winner will be the person who has the answer closest to the question and will be contacted directly through direct messaging. If more than one person answers correctly or the same, we have the right to choose the winner at random. Should we not be able to reach the winner within 48 hours, we will choose the runner-up. The winner will be announced on social media platforms on 31st October, 2023, or if a runner-up, they will be announced on 07th November 2023.
New Media Ghost Ltd will make two attempts to contact the winner, whichever way they entered the competition.
If the winner does not respond to the message informing them of their win within 48 hours of the second attempt, they forfeit their right to the prize, and New Media Ghost Ltd reserves the right to select and notify a new winner.
Delivery of the Prize
The winner will allow 14 days for the prize to be delivered. Otherwise alternative collection or delivery arrangements can be made through mutual agreement.
Data Protection and Publicity
You agree that any personal information you provide when entering the competition will be used by New Media Ghost Ltd for the purposes of administering the competition and for the other purposes specified in our Privacy Policy.
All entrants may request information on the winning participant by emailing hello@newmediaghost.com.
If requested by New Media Ghost Ltd, the winner agrees to release their first name and place of employment to any other competition participants.
The winner’s first name and area of residence will be announced on New Media Ghost’s website and social media channels.
Limitation of Liability
New Media Ghost Ltd accepts no liability for any damage, loss, injury, or disappointment suffered by any entrants as a result of participating in the competition or being selected for a prize.
General
New Media Ghost Ltd reserves the right to cancel the competition or amend these terms and conditions at any time and without prior notice.
